PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pine Bluff Police Department placed two officers on paid administrative leave Thursday.

According to the department, one of the officers is Assistant Police Chief Ivan Whitfield, a 29-year veteran of the force. The other is Detective Marty Harrison, who has over 10 years' law enforcement experience.

Lt. Bob Rawlinson with the Pine Bluff Police says there are two separate investigations for each man. He would not elaborate further, though he did say the two investigations are not connected.

There is no word as to how soon the investigations would be concluded.
