Camden man pleads guilty to drug trafficking, conspiracy | Crime

EL DORADO, Ark. (KTHV) – A Camden man is facing ten years to life in prison after admitting to charges of drug trafficking.

Prosecutors say Cedric Johnson, 35, pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine.

Johnson was also ordered to forfeit more than $720,000 that had been seized by authorities at the time of his arrest.

According to a release from Conner Eldridge, west Arkansas district attorney, Johnson dealt nearly 150 kilograms of cocaine in the Camden area since 2004. He was caught in June 2010 during a traffic stop.

In addition to the jail time, Johnson could face a fine of up to $10 million.
